IS there anything better than fresh seafood on the beach?

As part of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, At The Heads will present the “Sunday Seafood Soiree” this Sunday March 17.

Join in for an afternoon of local seafood, wine, and music held beside At The Heads on the sand.

Dishes include carrot cured Spencer Gulf Hiramasa Kingfish, pickled and raw carrot, herb cream; Goulburn Valley trout rillet, blini, pickled apple and mustard; crispy Lakes Entrance calamari, lemon myrtle, squid ink aioli; and chilled prawn salad, shellfish mayo, apple, melon, iceberg, horseradish and saltbush ash, just to name a few.

Wines will include the N.V Oakdene, 2017 Pinot Noir and 2018 Oakdene Pinot Gris, and from Blackmans, based in Torquay, Blackmans “Barrel Farm Sour” and Blackmans “Ernie Golden Ale”.

DJ Elliot Creed will provide the music and all attendees should dress to impress (bare feet welcome)!

Tickets for the event, which runs 12pm to 3pm, are $118 (all inclusive) and available through the MFWF website melbournefoodandwine.com.au/program/sunday-seafood-soire-7135.
