Shark sighting at Fairhaven
A SHARK sighting has been reported at Fairhaven.
VicEmergency issued an alert at 11.43am for a reported dangerous animal, with its incident map indicating the sighting was about two kilometres west of the Painkalac Creek estuary, near Moggs Creek.
Life Saving Victoria said on Twitter that it had spotted two 2,5-metre sharks – one at Fairhaven and another at Moggs Creek.
Lifesavers evacuated the water and were patrolling the area on jetskis this morning.
