WITH entries already rolling in for the 2025 edition of the Torquay Business Awards, Commerce Torquay is looking to connect with local businesses interested in sponsoring the event.
Now in its fourth year, the annual awards program acknowledges and celebrates the achievements of businesses of all sizes and from all industries operating across the 3228 postcode.
Commerce Torquay president Sarah Minter said the event’s sponsors played an integral role in providing opportunities for the local community to shine and encouraged businesses to throw their support behind the program.
“It’s a really good opportunity to get in front of the businesses who are particularly engaged in the Torquay community,” she said of the event’s sponsorship opportunities.
Gold, silver and bronze packages are available, with each promising a variety of promotional opportunities both in the lead up to and during this year’s presentation event, to be held at The Sands on September 4.

Within these packages, businesses have the flexibility to support the awards program at different levels and Commerce Torquay welcomes a variety of sponsorship arrangements.
“All the way through, the business awards have been about more than just business, they’re about caring about the community that we’re doing business in,” Ms Minter said.
“It’s a really good opportunity to be part of a fantastic celebration, get your word out, but also just to contribute to the Torquay business community.”
The event’s gold level sponsors, or category award sponsors, will also have the opportunity to present that category award to its respective winner.
“That’s a really exciting way to highlight the amazing people and businesses that we have operating in Torquay and it’s quite an exciting moment,” Ms Minter said.

“We don’t get enough chances to celebrate success, and this is building on last year’s presentation event, which was just truly a pure night of celebration and highlighting what we have to offer down here on the coast.”
Businesses across the 3228 postcode are invited to back themselves and submit an entry to this year’s Torquay Business Awards before entries close on July 31.
