COMMUNITY members dressed in their spooky best on Sunday for Warralily’s Spooky Shoalhaven Halloween at Mount Duneed’s Shoalhaven Park.

Hundreds of people flocked into the park in the housing estate to get into the Halloween spirit, taking part in a wide range of activities including spooky themed face painting, photo booths and a huge Halloween costume competition.

On top of the Halloween festivities, attendees also got the chance to watch an exhibition of dare-devil mountain bike demonstrations from professionals Andrew Haughton and Gaelen Slaney.

The new elevated bike park position provided an ideal location for people to watch some scary tricks up close and personal.

To take a break from the spooky tricks, plenty of treats were available for the audience to fill their tummies.

Delicious donuts filled with jam, Nutella or salted caramel were a definite favourite, while the crowds also enjoyed delighting in fluffy bao buns from the Chubby Bao van.

Plenty of different costumes were on show for the special Halloween event.

Warralily’s showstopping new Shoalhaven Park and the waterfall feature was said to be the perfect setting for the sun filled event.

The community day connected new and old friends and the costumes were the perfect ice breaker for getting the conversation going between neighbours.

Spooky Shoalhaven MC Dr Nincompoop (on right) was joined by pirates, pumpkins and everything in between.

Warralily look forward to hosting the event once again in 2023 and thank the community for coming out to enjoy the action.
