NATURAL Real Estate has announce the return of its popular Calendar Photo Competition for a seventh year running.

Amateur and professional photographers are invited to submit their best scenic shots from postcode 3228 for the chance to be featured in the Surf Coast Calendar calendar in 2026.

“We start getting requests as early as August, before it’s even gone to print,” Natural Real Estate director Shaun O’Callaghan said.

“People love gifting the calendar to friends and family for Christmas.”

Thirteen standout images will be selected to feature in the high-quality calendar, which will be distributed to thousands of local homes and businesses from early December.

Local photographer Ed Sloane returns this year as competition judge, bringing his expert eye to the entries.

“We’re blown away every year by the calibre of submissions,” Mr O’Callaghan said.

“Many incredible shots are taken on smartphones. It just proves talent and timing matter more than gear.”

The brief is simple: take a photo that shows what you love about Torquay, Jan Juc, Bellbrae or Bells Beach, whether it is waves, wildlife, landscapes or sunrises.

As well as a featured spot in the 2026 Surf Coast Calendar, winners will receive full photo credit; exposure across social media, media outlets and local promotions; and a chance to take home the People’s Choice prize via Natural Real Estate’s Facebook competition.

Calendars will be available for free from early December at Natural Real Estate’s office at 22 Bristol Road, Torquay

To enter, email low-res versions of your photos (including the photo location, your name, email and phone number) to [email protected] by September 25. Photos can be taken with a camera or smartphone, but must be print-quality for A4 sizing.
