July 10, 2019 BY

Cold Chisel and Jimmy Barnes tribute act Flame Trees will perform at the Torquay Bowls Club next Saturday.

THE ultimate Cold Chisel experience will excite 70s rockers at the Torquay Bowls Club on Saturday July 20.

Flame Trees (The Cold Chisel and Jimmy Barnes show) compromises of members from Scat, a highly successful cover band from Melbourne, to present the “second generation” of Flame Trees.

“I have decided to recreate the songs and sound that took the band from Darwin to Tasmania, regularly performing at venues such as the Top End Hotel, Darwin Ski Club, and Hotel Catherine,” said lead vocalist John Brown.

“Tasmania blessed us with the outstanding ‘Tattersalls’ in Hobart and the ‘Launceston Saloon’, a real wild west experience.”

Having spent time touring Adelaide hotel  and coastal New South Wales, John Brown, Paul Gales (guitar/vocals), Adrian Sorgini (keyboards, pianos, vocals), Robbi Zana (bass/vocals) and Alex Deegan (drums) are excited to bring the number one anthems of Cold Chisel to Torquay.

“If you love Cold Chisel and Barnesy, this is for you,” said John.

Flame Trees will perform at the Torquay Bowls Club (47 The Esplanade, Torquay) on Saturday July 20 from 8.30pm.
