Spring is in the air at Drysdale Primary

DRYSDALE Primary School’s fourth annual Spring Fair is shaping up to be a fun-filled evening with activities that can be enjoyed by all.

Held on November 16, the event at the school in Clifton Springs Road will boast some old favourites, including the very popular Haunted House, the ‘Spin to Win’ Chocolate Wheel and the Pie Throw – at the teachers, of course!

New attractions will include inflatable soccer, the water balloon wet area, as well as badge making, to name a few. And you could be the one to win the ultimate prize for completing the orienteering course… slime a Principal!

Mega Jumps will provide some carnival activities and Family Fun Games will be returning with a few mini golf holes added for extra fun.

And what would a Fair be without show bags?

There will have a huge variety of show bags and don’t forget to buy your flowers from the office for the chance to win one of three big prizes in the fantastic ‘Flower Shower’ raffle.

‘The Gems’ will return to the stage this year and will no doubt impress with their performance, along with a teacher band and school band, while Drysdale Football Club, Bellarine Hockey, Drysdale Scouts, Air cadets, Total Martial Arts and Drysdale Gymnastics will all be there on the day giving you a taste of the skills these sports involve.

The Fair will have market stalls held by local artisans and even some creative students will be selling some of their own creations, plus pony rides and face painting.

This is a great opportunity to get some early Christmas shopping done!

There will be a Cake Stall and Silent Auction (items donated by our generous local businesses).

Lastly, but by no means least, of course there will be food.

There will be many tasty food options available from the canteen, being run by our Spring Fair volunteers, as well as food trucks selling all sorts of yummy treats.

Why not come, grab a bite to eat, enjoy the entertainment, games and other activities on offer. The Spring Fair will run from 3.30pm to 7.30pm.

Spring Fair Tickets are used throughout the fair and can be pre-purchased from the School office or available at the Fair.
