St Therese luncheon a success

May 9, 2018 BY

Lauren, Laura, Sally, Brooke, Leah and Sherie were dressed to impress and joined more than 240 women for St Therese Catholic Primary School’s annual fundraiser.

It was yet another sell-out success for St Therese Catholic Primary School’s major fundraiser luncheon held at Torquay’s RACV Resort last week. Committee member Kenlyn Heaney said the yearly event was steeped in tradition and continued to raise valuable funds to assist in the school’s maintenance and developments. “It was another sell-out event, it was absolutely magnificent, and the afternoon and evening were a huge success. It’s all about the community and raising funds,” Ms Heaney said. “We had the founder of the Offspring Project Kristi Van Es come and speak to us, which was amazing for the entire room to hear her incredible story and the incredible work she does. We had just over 240 ladies including women from other schools as well. We had amazing support from local businesses with over $3,000 worth of prizes donated and it was yet again another stellar event.”
