STEP Into Life has joined Women’s Health Week to help empower women to take control of their health.

Raising awareness about women’s health is a challenge, Women’s Health Week encourages women to prioritise their health and create a routine that delivers a happier and fitter life.

“We are excited to be associated with Jean Hailes for Women’s Health. As the fitness partner for Women’s Health Week, we recognise the importance of physical activity to the health and wellbeing of women across Australia and New Zealand,” Ambassador from Step Into Life Mel Cathie said.

“As personal trainers, we are constantly told by people that come to us how difficult it can be to find the time and motivation to maintain good health and fitness.

“Step into Life sees Women’s Health Week as the perfect stage to bring together experienced health professionals to showcase fitness routines suitable for all women thinking about taking action to improve their health and wellbeing.

“Helping women make real and sustainable improvements to lead a healthier life is the backbone of Step into Life’s mission.”

Step Into Life Torquay is hosting a Women’s Health Open Week from Monday September 3 until Saturday September 8.

“We have designed daily sessions during Women’s Health Week, to address the five most popular topics as outlined by Jean Hailes for Women’s Health,” owner Rose Constance said.

“Sessions include Silent topic – Body image; Happier Hormones – Menopause; Mental Wellbeing – Mental Health; Pelvic Power – Bowel & bladder control and Wired & Tired – Stress management.”

Attendance is by booking only, early-bird registrations will receive an official Women’s Health Week goodie showbag; to register, please phone Rose on 0422 113623 or by email [email protected].
