BEYOND Bank Foundation is partnering with The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre (The SAFV Centre) to make a real difference in people impacted by sexual and family violence.
Beyond Bank Foundation has helped organisations across Australia make meaningful differences by dollar matching funds raised through their Double Donation initiative.
On Wednesday, April 2 and Thursday April 3 donations made to the SAFV Centre will be doubled by Beyond Bank up to $10,000 making twice the impact.
Geelong’s Beyond Bank’s community development manager, Cameron Murnane said Beyond Bank is proud to support the SAFV Centre through the campaign.
“We recognise that the rates of sexual and family violence are high in Greater Geelong and we want to make a meaningful difference and give back to people in our local area who are impacted,” he said.
“Please give generously to let the SAFV Centre clients know that they aren’t alone.”
The partnership means twice the support for those rebuilding their lives after experiencing sexual or family violence—helping with housing and safety including crisis accommodation, and essential needs like food and clothing as well as school supplies and social activities to re-establish connections for mothers and children after family violence.
These are all critical to helping people affected by sexual and family violence recover and improve the safety of women and children in the community, creating lasting change.
SAFV Centre CEO, Kerriann Campbell-Jones said the Double Donation campaign will significantly enhance circumstances of people recovering from the impacts of sexual and family violence.
“Last year, we supported more than 5,500 people across our service area which was 1,500 more people than in the previous financial year and as this number continues to grow, we welcome additional donations from our local community to enhance our work and create impactful change for our clients,” she said.
“We are incredibly grateful for this opportunity to partner with Beyond Bank and look forward to making a difference together”
