THE Surf Coast Suns and Links Property have strengthened their long partnership by teaming up on the naming rights of Polwarth Oval.

The Suns will refer to the junior football ground at Torquay North as Links Oval, a move which reflects both organisations’ commitment to the Surf Coast community.

Lynne Hayden from Links Property said the company was thrilled about the new naming rights.

“Links Property, proudly established in Torquay for almost 20 years, is thrilled to be the named sponsor of the Surf Coast Suns Oval and major sponsor of the club.

“This partnership reflects Links’ long-standing commitment to the Surf Coast community, supporting grassroots sport and promoting health, wellbeing and connection for people of all ages.

“As a local business, Links believes in investing in the future of Torquay – helping families thrive, strengthening community spirit, and contributing to the continued growth and value of our region.”

Surf Coast Suns president Jay Williams said Links had been on board with the club for a long time.

“They’ve stepped up in their contributions and we’ve recognised that long-standing relationship with the naming rights to Polwarth which is pretty cool.

“We’ve got some more signage up at the ground because of it… they’ve just been awesome to us for ages. They are probably one of our original partners.”
