AUSTRALIA’S oldest ironman race, the Surf Coast Times Jim Wall Ironman, returns to the Torquay surf beach later this month.

In 2019, the iconic event for both male and female competitors will follow a Life Saving Victoria senior carnival with multiple disciplines.

These disciplines will include U15 board (male and female), U15 surf race (male and female), U19 board race (male and female), U19 surf race (male and female), open board (male and female), and open surf race (male and female).

Competitors will travel from across Australia to take part in the Jim Wall Ironman, which dates back to 1962 and is proudly sponsored by the Surf Coast Times.

The LSV senior carnival and Jim Wall Ironman will be held at the Torquay SLSC on January 13 from noon.
