LOOKING for a little unique gift in a hurry? Jan Juc locals are in luck as a local mum and teacher has set up a drive-through stall, selling succulents and gift tags from her front yard.

Teeny Tiny Succulents, located on the corner of Seabreeze Drive and Bartholomew Chase, was recently started by teacher and mum-of-two Bonnie Rahilly, as a creative outlet and fun way to share her discovery of these little convenient gifts.

“A few months ago I just felt like I had so many times when I needed to give a little gift but flowers weren’t quite the right fit,” Mrs Rahilly said.

“I started giving succulents because they were something unique and a little bit different, and they were well received by friends and family, so I thought I’d put them out there for everyone.

“I wanted to provide something a bit different and fill that void of small gift giving gesture.”

Mrs Rahilly said she set up the stall to be convenient, sustainable and contactless, as people can go by the stall anytime to buy the little succulents home grown in decorated jars.

“I just wanted to provide a unique gift idea that was local and super convenient, it’s drive through and contactless cash or bank transfer.”

“You just drive up and choose your succulent and drive off again.

“It’s quite literally ready to go, you just write on your gift tag, transfer the money and you’ve got a little gift, on your way to work if you’ve forgotten to pick something up, or just a little gift when you need one on the go.”

Mrs Rahilly said she takes care to ensure the gifts are also pretty, fun and sustainable, growing the succulents and designing the gifts herself.

“So I just use all jars and tins, and collect things along the way.

“I grow my own succulents and grab some from friends and family when they catch my eye, it’s all sustainable, recycled materials.”
