MORE than 100 people charged their glasses at the weekend to celebrate 10 years of the Surf Coast Suns.
The local sporting club notched up the milestone with a celebratory event at the RACV Torquay Resort on Saturday night.

Members of the Suns community reflected on a decade in the game and built excitement for what is ahead, with the club to step into the Bellarine Football Netball League in 2026.
The event featured plenty of sporting memorabilia, photographs, guest speakers, live music and food and beverages.
Surf Coast Suns football president Jay Williams said it was fantastic to celebrate the past, present and future of the club.
“We celebrate the kids every weekend, but this was a great chance to thank the rest of the crew who it takes to operate each week.
“The timing is pretty amazing when you reflect back on ten years of being junior club as we build to where we are now on the eve of seniors football and netball.
“It was great to touch on how good our club is, the culture, and our role for community… we also touched on our history and highlighted the key people who have shaped us to where we are now.”
