Tesla’s Tiny House comes to Torquay
A SMALL house designed and built by Tesla is making the rounds across the region, stopping in Geelong this week and scheduled to arrive in Torquay today (Thursday).
Powered by 100 per cent renewable energy via a 2kW solar system and Tesla’s Powerwall battery, the Tesla Tiny House, which is coming to Torquay after six days parked near the carousel on the Geelong waterfront, contains a mobile design studio and configurator which can calculate how your home can generate clean energy from the sun using solar panels, storing it in Powerwall to use throughout the day and night, which can all be monitored and controlled by the Tesla app.
The house is towed by the all-electric Tesla Model X, and energy experts will be on hand to answer any questions about how Tesla’s energy products can help to sustainably power your home, protect you from outages and reduce your energy bills.
The Tesla Tiny House will be at Elephant Walk, Torquay from today (Thursday) until Saturday from 9am-6pm.
Any town across Australia can submit a request for Tiny House to visit – for more information, head to tesla.com/teslatinyhouse.
