The APCO Foundation – Fuelling kindness in Mt Duneed

WITH the addition of APCO Mt Duneed, the APCO Foundation continues to grow, as the new service station jumps on board.

The APCO Foundation provides vital support to vulnerable individuals and families in local communities through initiatives focused on alleviating poverty and supporting people through a range of circumstances.

By expanding into Mount Dueend, the Foundation is not only celebrating a new store, but also the chance to grow its reach and impact.

The APCO Mt Duneed team has already embraced the work of the Foundation and, since the service station’s opening, has partnered with Feed Me Surf Coast, with the local charity picking up leftover products daily.

The partnership allows APCO to reduce its food waste, while Feed Me can provide food to those in need.

 

Fundraising and Development Manager Jade Augustine said it was great to be able to welcome the Mount Duneed service station to the Foundation.

“We’re so excited to have another store in the network enabling us to fuel even more kindness in the local community,” she said.

All 28 of the participating service stations can make additional requests for people within the community who are in need of a helping hand.

In the past three months, the Foundation has donated $15,000 to the Power in You Women’s Group to support its programs, given $15,000 to Friend in Me to support a mobile reset zone trailer, $8,000 to ShareAid Geelong, $10,000 to Meli’s Foster a Future Campaign and more.

Supporting the APCO Foundation is its annual Giving Day, with the 2025 event breaking fundraising records.

APCO Service Stations turned into superhero headquarters for the day, raising $259,531 and helping to make an impact throughout the community.
