Titans celebrate inaugural top-grade triumph
Armstrong Creek won its inaugural top-grade Bellarine Peninsula Cricket Association premiership in thrilling fashion.
The Titans posted 8-202 from 75 overs before restricting Barwon Heads to 189 from 72.5 overs in the A1 two-day grand final at Collendina Recreation Reserve on Sunday.
Opener Clay Mulgrew was awarded player of the match for his 135 runs from 231 balls while Seagulls captain-coach Dan Donaldson starred with 4-70 and 51 not out.
Armstrong Creek also beat Barwon Heads in the C2 decider after keeping the Seagulls to 60 from 35 overs.
