TORQUAY Commerce and Tourism is hosting its first event of the year at Bomboras on February 27 from 7.30am onwards.

Open to all local and Surf Coast businesses, the “Welcome back to 2019” gives vendors and local traders the opportunity to network with other local businesses and likeminded people.

Torquay Commerce and Tourism (TCT) is a notfor- profit based organisation dedicated to support and improve the local business economy; pop in for a complimentary coffee and muffin and make valuable connections.

The organisation is part of the broader Australian Chamber of Commerce network, which gives a stronger voice for the local business community in local matters.

TCT is staunchly pro-business with its primary focus on the interests of businesses in the Torquay district.

“We strive for a strong, healthy and competitive local economy for all businesses and industries of all sizes operating within the broader Torquay area,” a TCT spokesperson said.

“Our goal is to ensure through our member services we offer support, education and facilitation for those activities which our business in the Torquay area seek to become more competitive, create jobs and expand their business opportunities.”

Bomboras is located at 37 The Esplanade, for more information and to register go to tct.tidyhq.com.
