December 12, 2018 BY

THE Rotary Club of Torquay hopes to inspire the next generation of scientists at Lisieux Catholic Primary School by donating 30 microscopes to the school.

Rotarians Trevor Pickles (left) and Richard Mierzejewski (right) visited the school on Tuesday afternoon to make the presentation, which was arranged through one of the school’s staff and part of Rotary’s Microscopes In Schools program, which is co-ordinated by the Rotary Club of Freshwater Bay in Western Australia. The two Rotarians are seen here presenting some of the lighted microscopes to pupils Finnegan, Sophia and Winter.
