Torquay Tier I exposure site
A Torquay chiropractic clinic and a Newcombe gym are Tier 1 COVID-19 exposure sites, with contact tracing now underway.
Total Health Chiropractic Torquay has just been added to the growing list of local exposure sites.
Anyone who has visited Total Health Torquay on Friday, August 20 between 6pm and 7.45pm must immediately isolate, get a COVID-19 test, and quarantine for 14 days from the date of exposure.
Anyone who visited Derrimut Gym in Newcomb on August 17, 9.30am – 11am and August 19, 9.55am – 11.30am must also immediately isolate, get a COVID-19 test, and quarantine for 14 days from the date of exposure.
Barwon Health is working with the Department of Health to investigate and contact tracing underway. People who have visited a Tier 1 site should also fill out the self-assessment form or call 1300 651 160.
Pop-up testing sites at Deakin University, Waurn Ponds (Peter Thwaites Lecture Theatre, Alfred Deakin Drive), the Geelong Showgrounds (enter via Gate 2, Breakwater Road), and Beckley Park, Broderick Road, Corio. Barwon Health’s testing sites have extended hours to cater for increased demand and the community is encouraged to attend the site closest to them if they need testing.
