The days start early for The Salty Dog crew, welcoming people through the doors at 6am every day for their first coffee of the morning.

As the only beachside cafe in Torquay, the local venue offers a moment to escape from reality with breakfast, smoothies, juices, coffees, cakes and a view to match.

And the coffee is as good as the view. The café serves organic Dukes Coffee alongside a menu designed to cater for a wide range of dietary needs, including vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options.

 

For people who don’t feel like a caffeine hit, vegan smoothies and milkshakes are on offer.

Customers have the option of dining in and enjoying the sea breeze, or taking their order to go and exploring more of the coastlines.

Nobody is left out from enjoying the quality of The Salty Dog Cafe, with four-legged friends also invited to join in the fun.

The cafe is home to the Torquay Pooch Parade, an annual event that brings together dogs of all breeds and sizes, as they battle it out for the best dressed title.
