Musicians, food trucks sought for Tri-UMPH Music Festival

THE Tri-UMPH Music Festival will return this year, and organisers are looking for musicians and food trucks to take part.

Clonard College, Sacred Heart College, Saint Ignatius College, St. Joseph’s College and Iona College are uniting for the fifth Tri-UMPH (“Triennially United to Make Poverty History”) Music Festival.

The five-school event will raise funds for towns in East Timor that are facing poverty, with a focus on education and youth programs.

Organisers are seeking bands and solo artists who want to increase their profile and boost their audience by playing to a crowd of about 8,000 youth from the Geelong region, as well as food trucks that want to build their brand.

Tri-UMPH Music Festival will be back bigger than ever, following its 2008 debut and events in 2011, 2014 and 2017. In the past, the festival has enjoyed strong support from many bands who have kindly and generously donated their time.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to the East Timor relief fund.
