Trung shares Bellarine’s beauty at Basils

Trung Truong is showcasing his artworks, which are as diverse as the cultural influence of places he has lived, at Basils Farm in Swan Bay.

Officially launched last week, Trung said he was excited about sharing his paintings and Fine Art Photography with the community, after opening Fat Fox Art Gallery in Portarlington with his wife Anna three years ago.

A professional artist all his life, Trung has exhibited his art work on several continents. “The differences between my previous Gallery Kunsthalle St. Moritz Switzerland and Fat Fox Art Gallery are huge,” Trung said.

“In St. Moritz for most months of the year I walked out on to the snow to behold the grand and magnificent beauty of the surrounding white-capped peaks.

“Here at Fat Fox Art Gallery the vista is on somewhat a smaller scale, but equally satisfying to the senses. My dream is to have a self-sustaining environment based on permaculture guidelines.” Basils Farm promote Trung’s art works as striking images that display a depth of beauty and invite quiet contemplation.
