TV chef leads sausage workshop at Geelong Beer Festival
GEELONG Beer Festival has announced that TV chef and local restaurant owner Adrian Richardson will conduct a sausage making workshop at their upcoming event.
Richardson, known for his roles on TV shows like “Good Chef-Bad Chef” and “Boys Weekend”, and appearances on “MasterChef Australia” and “Iron Chef America”, will showcase his skills at the festival.
The celebrity chef said food and drink always taste best close to the source.
“I can’t wait to celebrate and share what the Greater Geelong and Bellarine region has to offer at Geelong Beer festival,” he said.
The workshop titled ‘Unleash Your Inner Sausage Master’ is scheduled for 2pm to 2.45pm.
Richardson, also the culinary mind behind Maestro at the Holiday Inn and Suites Geelong, will teach attendees how to make sausages, sharing techniques, seasoning secrets, and tips.
Geelong BeerFest features over 40 breweries, cideries, distilleries, cocktail specialists, vineyards, and street food vendors.
The Main Stage will feature The Bag Raiders (DJ Set) supported by local favourites Famous Will and local covers band Madhouse
Another highlight is a brisket trimming demonstration by Steven Nichols from Workers Barbecue at 1pm to 1.45pm.
Nichols will share his knowledge on simple techniques and smoking processes for preparing brisket.
The Geelong Beer Festival is set for Saturday, 20th January, from 12pm to 8pm at Johnstone Park, Geelong CBD.
