Twelve Apostles celebrated on limited edition Nutella
NUTELLA are celebrating Australian and New Zealand culture with the Twelve Apostles among eight iconic locations being printed on limited-edition collectors’ jars.
Nutella are encouraging everyone to enjoy a taste of Australia and New Zealand with the new Nutella jars, as they celebrate the unique landscapes and flavours of Australia with new recipes inspired by ingredients from each location.
For each different jar, Nutella have championed a special meal the spread can be best used with, and picked espresso granola cups for the Twelve Apostles to signify Victoria’s coffee culture.
The recipe, which is available on the Nutella website, embraces many local ingredients and flavours including local coffee and the hazelnut spread to top the granola cups off.
Other regions to get their own jar and recipe include the Barossa Valley in South Australia, New Zealand’s Milford Sound and Cradle Mountain in Tasmania.
“We’ve rediscovered what home really means in the last few years, so our newest Nutella collection aims to celebrate what makes this country so unique,” Nutella marketing manager Azzurra Puricelli said.
“We hope Australians can enjoy collecting these iconic jars just as much as they enjoy a delicious breakfast with Nutella in the mornings.”
Since 1964, Nutella has featured on the breakfast tables of millions of people around the world.
While Nutella was first created in Italy, it has been made in Australia for more than four decades in the small town of Lithgow, NSW, which produces 8.8 kilograms of the spread each year.
Nutella fans can buy the Nutella Loves Aussie Recipes jars in supermarkets from this month.
