Two more sold at hot auctions

McCartney Real Estate agents were kept busy taking bids onsite and via phone at 18 Gogoll Crescent over the weekend, which sold for $1,280,000.
TWO more Torquay properties exchanged hands at auction on the weekend with an older style brick home at 18 Gogoll Crescent going for $1,280,000 and a modern Porter Davis home near the beach at 1337 Horseshoe Bend Road selling for $1,450,000.
McCartney’s auction of 18 Gogoll Crescent saw around 70 people attend, with the opening bid at $900,000 that soon saw multiple bidders drive the price well past the $1,000,000 reserve.
The property attracted about 40 inspections throughout the campaign with the interest predominately from locals but the winning bid being from a Melbourne-based buyer looking to make the property their home.
Ferris Gold’s auction of 1337 Horseshoe Bend Road, just up from The Esplanade, drew a large crowd to see a bid of $1,350,000 with the property eventually being sold for $1,450,000 to Melbourne-based buyers.
