United names WNBL naming rights sponsor
AUSTRALIAN fastening company INFASTECH will be a part of history when Geelong United undertakes its inaugural season, signing on as the club’s WNBL name sponsor.
Geelong United has welcomed INFASTECH to its ranks as the name sponsor of its new top-flight side, with the 2024/25 season to commence in just over a month’s time.
INFASTECH has over 60 years of experience in the Australian construction landscape, specialising in high-performance fastening solutions in industries such as aerospace, mining, rail, and manufacturing.
“We are proud to support Geelong United Basketball as they launch their WNBL team,” managing director of INFASTECH Glenn Heffernan said.
“As proud supporters of women in sport, we believe in pushing boundaries and striving for excellence, much like Geelong United’s vision for their team. We look forward to seeing the positive impact this partnership will have on our community.”
Originally known as Avdel Pty Ltd, INFASTECH has endured multiple phases, gaining a reputation for innovation and quality.Geelong United general manager of Partnerships and Marketing Connie Bolger said she was excited to begin an exciting new partenership.
