Vibrant new space for local brand
Torquay’s favourite childrenswear brand Oishi-m are moving to a fresh and exciting new retail space in Torquay Village.
Opening this Friday January 19 at 12pm, the new Oishi-m retail space in Torquay Village will house both their retail store and office space, in what owner Miyo Fallshaw describes as amazing.
“The new space is exciting, with so much more room to showcase our Torquay-designed Oishi-m garments,” Miyo said.
“There will be a bevy of other brands such as Nike, Adidas, Vans, Saltwater Sandals, Native Shoes, Miann & Co and Kip & Co. We hope it will take your breath away.”
Since being announced as the winner of the 2016 and 2017 Geelong Business Excellence Award for retail, the Oishi-m small store and web store was lauded as the best childrenswear boutique in Australia.
Oishi-m have grown tremendously over the years and recently outgrew the double tenancy they held in Gilbert Street, Torquay.
“We’re excited about our newer and bigger Oishi-m space,” Miyo said.
From behind the store, the Oishi-m team designs, sources and creates the locally designed clothing collections, which are produced largely in Melbourne.
“2018 is shaping up to be an exciting year, with a new office, a fresh new shop and many new products on the horizon,” Miyo said.
“As we approach our 12th year of business, we look forward to cultivating our vibrant community and finding our flow in the new home of Oishi-m.”
Oishi-m’s new store is located at T7, Torquay Village, 41-57 Bristol Road, Torquay or visit, oishi-m.com.
