Victorian Junior Titles decided at Jan Juc

THE third and final round of the Victorian Junior Titles has been run and won, with clean three- to four-foot surfing conditions at Jan Juc crowning six new state champions across all divisions.

The level was at an unbelievable standard on May 6 as surfers put forward their best efforts to end the 2018 Victorian events on a good note.


Round 3 results:

U18 Boys:

  • 1st: Taj Sleeman
  • 2nd: Chad Garrett
  • 3rd: Jackson Kay
  • 4th: Cooper Downes

U18 Girls:

  • 1st: Lannia Fostin
  • 2nd: Bella Wilson
  • 3rd: Angela Ball

U16 Boys:

  • 1st: Zeph Lamperd
  • 2nd: Bohdie Williams
  • 3rd: Ethan Huxtable
  • 4th: Cody Major

U16 Girls:

  • 1st: Poppy Corbett
  • 2nd: Jazz Wylie
  • 3rd: Lucy Naylor
  • 4th: Sage Goldsbury
  • 5th: Minnie Vorrath

U14 Boys:

  • 1st: Willis Droomer
  • 2nd: Jack Bassett
  • 3rd: Patrick Hughes
  • 4th: Malachi White

U14 Girls:

  • 1st: Ellie Harrison
  • 2nd: Mia Huppatz
  • 3rd: Cielle Bouvier
  • 4th: Emily Mcgettigan

The AirAsia wave of the day went to Ellie Harrison (Barwon Heads) for her 9.27 point ride. She will now go into the draw to win a trip to Asia.
