Walk the red carpet when film festival returns
IF YOU have never walked the red carpet before, you’ll have your chance when the North Bellarine Film Festival returns to Drysdale next month.
This year’s event, which will run from November 16 to18, will screen five feature films at the Potato Shed – the festival hub.
An opening night reception on Friday November 16 will screen the Australian film Brothers’ Nest.
International films Wind River and Loveless will be screened on November 17 and Tangerines and Faces Places on November 18.
A courtesy bus will be available for all evening sessions.
A program of free short films will be shown at the Potato Shed on November 17 and 18. Thalamos will head the November 17 line-up and the full program of shorts will be announced later this month.
Animation, experimental and avant-garde short films will also be screened on November 18 at the festival’s satellite venue the Portarlington Neighbourhood House.
