Warralily market set for huge return
THE beloved Warralily Market will return to the idyllic Mirambeena Play Park this weekend and promises to embrace the true spirit of bringing the community together.
Tomorrow’s event (September 2) will include over 40 artisan display stalls and give locals the chance to meet and support talented creators, makers and small business owners within the community.
This month’s quarterly market will showcase both familiar favourites and exciting newcomers, including Flora and Mae Creative, a beautifully designed gift and event stationary stall crafted by the skilled Aimee Bourke in Geelong.
Other newcomers include local handmade children’s resources and goods designers An Aurora of Resources and La She Co, who specialise in premium nourishing beauty products.
The Warralily Community Garden Inc 3217 group, local artist Megan McInerney, Armstrong Creek Boomerang Bags and Armstrong Creek Pet Minding will all feature on the day amongst other stallholders.
Waralily development manager, Jeremy Minter said it was exciting to be bringing back the popular event for another year.
“The anticipation is building for the quarterly Warralily market!
“It’s a wonderful day out that unites the community in supporting our local artists, makers and small businesses.
“It’s a true celebration of Warralily’s community spirit where all are welcome.”
Bellarine Distillery and Danny Boy Distillery will be on hand to satisfy marketgoers palletes, while Saccha Sugarcane Smoothie and Juice Bar, Rockin’ Donuts and Caffinate Me are all locked in to swing some of their favoured delicacies.
The Lil Dumping Van, Chubby Bao and the Bearded Brothers Que’s will be also dishing out plenty of food to fill the bellies.
The market will kick off at 11am and run until 3pm.
