Warralily to light up for summer market
COMMUNITY members are invited to soak up the summer vibes at the Warralily Summer Market next weekend.
The February 3 event at Mirambeena Park will showcase the creativity and passion of local artisans and makers through vibrant stalls, live music and culinary delights.
Market organiser Janina Lear said the lush greens of Mirambeena Park will provide the perfect summer setting to take in the sights and sounds of a market.
“I’m bringing big picnic blankets and cushions to add to the laid-back atmosphere,” she said.
“Market goers can take a break from exploring stalls to savour the delightful food selection while being serenaded by the tunes of Fidel Monk Music.”
Among the other fresh faces at the market will be stallholders Wuirky and Qeird from Torquay, who present a unique blend of artistry and sustainability with handcrafted jewellery of copper, raw gemstones and recycled sea glass.
Zuu Signs, Rebecca Campbell Sea Glass Art and Chris’ Creations will also help to bring the summer vibes to the market with their unique creations.
Marketgoers can whet the palate with a section of craft beer and spirits from Danny Boy Distillery, Flowstate Brewers and Distillers and Great Ocean Road Gin.
Double Dutchess pancakes, Oz Whip – Gelato Co, Turkish Street Food, Rockin Twistie Potatoes, Gypsy Burger and The Lil Dumpling Van will also be on hand to fill tummies.
The market will run from 10am to 3pm.
