Wild women carve it up

WILd women took to the waves on Saturday as the Surf Coast Longboarders Club held its ninth Wild Women on Water fundraiser.

The day attracted a big field to Point Impossible – 25 women competed in the shortboard division, 21 in the open Longboard, 15 women in over 35s and there were two heats of Under 18 Longboarders. Proceeds from the event, which are still being counted, go towards local charity Bethany, providing much-needed support for vulnerable individuals and families.
