Winchelsea to host Australia Day pool party

The pool party is an annual event held by the Surf Coast Shire’s youth team and designed for people of all ages.

Games, music and giveaways will all be part of the entertainment on the day.

Cr Heather Wellington said the pool always made a great site for events like this to be held.

“The Winchelsea Pool is much-loved by the community. There’s an even bigger buzz at the venue when it hosts events like this.”

Fellow Winchelsea Ward Councillor James McIntyre said he was also anticipating a great event.

“It’s a great setup at the pool. Fingers crossed we have some great weather on the day so people can lap up this event as part of their long weekend.”

The pool part will run from 1-4pm.

Entry will be $4.80 for children and $5.90 for adults. Spectator entry is just $1.
