Works begin on Burvilles Road

October 31, 2024 BY

Access to Geelong Memorial Park will be impacted as Burvilles Road in Armstrong Creek undergoes upgrades.

AS THE City of Greater Geelong begins upgrading Burvilles Road in Armstrong Creek, roads around the area will be affected, with closures impacting access to Geelong Memorial Park.

Road closures will take place in two stages, with stage one of the upgrades beginning on October 28.

During the upgrades, access to Geelong Memorial Park will only be available via the Surf Coast Highway.

Traffic management will be onsite during business hours to direct all visitors, clear signage will be in place outside of business hours.

The second stage of the project is scheduled to commence around November 19.

Geelong Cemeteries Trust will provide further details, including changes to access, as they become available.

The community is asked to plan accordingly and the Geelong Cemeteries Trust appreciate their patience throughout the upgrade works.

A map outlining the road closures and how to access Geelong Memorial Park is available on the Geelong Cemeteries Trust website at gct.net.au
