WORKS to revitalise the Lorne Sea Baths Precinct are scheduled to start shortly, further enhancing the foreshore experience for locals and visitors alike.

The upgrades, which are being led by Landcorp Foreshore Precinct Pty Ltd will involve improving the services and facilities on offer to the public.

Landcorp’s project will establish a new spa and wellness centre and deliver a range of improvements to enhance functionality and appeal of the precinct.

Planned upgrades include refurbished wellness and customer service areas, additional private bathing options, and improved boardwalk connections and power.

As the public land manager, the Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority (GORCAPA) has resolved to issue a new lease to Landcorp to enable the project.

The lease includes special conditions shaped by community feedback gathered during GORCAPA’s extensive engagement process in 2023.

This includes guaranteed school access, minimum trading requirements to encourage year-round operation, and commitments to heating and all-season usability.

Signage will be installed this week to signal the start of the redevelopment.
