XAVIER HUXTABLE DOES WELL IN VICTORIAN YOUNG ACHIEVER AWARDS

JAN Juc surfer Xavier Huxtable has been officially presented with his award as a finalist in this year’s Victorian Young Achiever Awards. The 15-yearold, who recently won the GromSearch International final, was a contender for the Regional Achiever Award and received his certificate in front of more than 600 guests at the awards ceremony in Flemington on May 18. Of the 10 category winners, Melbourne’s Dan Poole was eventually named the Victorian Young Achiever of the year.
