IN July 2025, the federal government rolled out a new Home Battery Rebate designed to make solar batteries more affordable than ever.

Eligible households receive $350 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) of storage capacity, up to 50kWh. That means you could save as much as $17,500 on a home battery system.
