Creating communities in Armstrong Creek

THE flourishing, newly established communities of Armstrong and Warralily in the Armstrong Creek growth corridor have had an amazing 12 months, with both communities achieving growth rates well beyond predictions.

Snapping at their heels are another two popular estates rapidly coming out of the ground and contributing to amazing sales figures that exceeded 150 lots per month during the final months of 2017.

Charlemont Rise is struggling to keep up with demand for lots, as contactors work quickly to bring the civils works online.

With road and drainage infrastructure in place for the early stages, Ashbury Estate is also off to a flying start, with this estate seeing unprecedented demand for lots.

The largest residential development in the Armstrong Creek catchment, Warralily, has seen consistent sales of 60 lots per month for the last six months, which will significantly add to the 2,000 completed dwellings that support 5,600 new residents.

With around another 250 homes under construction, the estimated time to reach the envisaged population of around 16,000 in Warralily Estate alone, has been greatly reduced.

Warralily have also just launched their premium Warralily Grange Estate to the west of the Surf Coast Highway on the slopes of Mount Duneed.

This much awaited residential development consisting of 870 lots will eventually be home to another 5,500 residents.

Villawood’s Armstrong and Sanctuary residential developments are also seeing exceptional growth.

Armstrong, with a growing population of 2,500, is seeing land sales exceeding 50 per month while their newly established Sanctuary estate is seeing more than 30 sales per month.

Boasting 1,000 new homes, with 250 under construction, Armstrong is also rapidly approaching its ultimate population of 7,500 people.

The popular tree-change Sanctuary estate has about 40 homes under construction with this boutique development to see an expected population exceeding 1,000.

With this rapid growth comes much needed community infrastructure. Last year, The Village Warralily Shopping Centre and Club Armstrong were completed and firmly established as community assets.

With multiple schools, recreation and public transport facilities, a further new shopping precinct and a myriad of other services required to support the growing community in the pipeline, Armstrong Creek is rapidly becoming the preferred destination for young families.
