THE Independent Cabinet Makers Geelong (ICM Geelong) Cabinetry Awards are back for 2026, with entries now officially open for what promises to be another standout year celebrating local design and craftsmanship.
Recognising the exceptional work of cabinetmakers and interior designers across the Greater Geelong region, the annual awards shine a spotlight on the creativity, skill and innovation behind some of the region’s most impressive custom cabinetry projects. Open to both cabinetmakers and designers, the program continues to champion collaboration and highlight the value of choosing local, bespoke solutions over mass-produced alternatives.

This year’s awards feature an expanded lineup of categories, reflecting the breadth of work being produced across the industry.
Categories include Best Kitchen Under $50,000, Best Kitchen Over $50,000, Best Bathroom Design, Best Small Range Joinery, Best House Lot, polytec Best Project and Caesarstone Best Kitchen, alongside two exciting additions for 2026: Best Outdoor Kitchen and Best Commercial Joinery.
Winners will be selected by an independent panel of industry experts, ensuring a high standard of judging across all categories. Each project is judged on its aesthetic appeal and functionality.
The popular People’s Choice Award will also return, giving the public the opportunity to vote for their favourite project online.

A highlight of the awards calendar is the much anticipated awards evening, hosted by e&s Geelong.
Bringing together cabinetmakers, designers, suppliers and industry professionals, the event is a celebration of talent, connection and shared passion for quality craftsmanship.
The MC for this year’s event will be lifestyle television presenter Walt Collins, whose dynamic career in broadcasting and storytelling brings and energetic vibe to the evening.

Now firmly established as a key industry event, the ICM Geelong Cabinetry Awards continues to grow in both scale and reputation.
What began as a local initiative has evolved into a respected platform for recognition, inspiring excellence and showcasing the incredible work being created.
Entries are now open, offering cabinetmakers and designers the opportunity to showcase their work, gain recognition and be part of a thriving local industry.
