Great Ocean Properties’ multi-million-dollar magic in Juc
GREAT Ocean Properties has set another record price with the sale of 8 Rip View Close, Jan Juc.
Although the final figure is undisclosed, it sold in the vicinity of the asking price according to Great Ocean Properties director Marty Maher, who sold the property that was advertised for sale at $4.25 million.
“This was a very special property and we were always confident of achieving a positive outcome for our vendors.
“This is the first sale over $4 million ever recorded in the Torquay-Jan Juc area for a residential property.
“This eclipses the prices of the two properties sold in Broadbeach Road, Jan Juc in the high $3 million range by Great Ocean Properties in the previous two years.
“The property is to be used as a permanent home and the purchasers cannot wait to move in. They recognised that the combination of an excellent view, a stunning residence, total privacy and a beautiful north-facing aspect was very rare.
“The vendors are also extremely pleased with the result, and we believe the key to selling successfully is in developing a strong relationship with our vendors and having a clear strategy.
“We all need to play our role to produce the best results and our vendors in this instance were exceptional to work with.”
Mr Maher said the upper end of the market remains buoyant with recent records set in the Anglesea market place also by Great Ocean Properties.
“Two recent undisclosed sales easily eclipsed the previous $2.9 million record for Anglesea. We have been requested not to disclose the outcome of these sales, which both occurred via private auctions, which is becoming more and more common.”
