Jess Hendry loves the outdoors

Jess Hendry Horticulture is a new business in Ocean Grove providing landscaping and garden maintenance services throughout the Bellarine.

Jess began as a horticulturist and landscaper in 2008, working in residential gardens across Melbourne while studying landscaping and design.

After four years she made the move to Sydney where she secured a role with one of the most prestigious landscaping companies in the city, working on high-end residential properties throughout the east.

In June this year Jess moved south again, but this time to a quieter life in Ocean Grove, and started Jess Hendry Horticulture – a business dedicated to creating and maintaining beautiful and functional outdoor spaces.

The business focuses on simple, natural designs inspired by the stunning natural beauty of the surrounding landscapes.

The use of sustainable products and practices is a vital part of the ethos of the business, so, where possible, only sustainable and locally sourced products are used.

In the decade that Jess has been working as a horticulturist, she has worked on an incredibly wide variety of projects, but now she has her own business she has decided to focus on what she enjoys most: creating relaxing and beautiful outdoor spaces for people to enjoy day after day, week after week, year after year, in any weather.
