Last few Cranberry Way lots up for grabs

August 1, 2018 BY

The auction for the last Cranberry Way Estate lots gets underway on Friday night.

The last lots in central Torquay’s most recent residential estate, Cranberry Way at 34 Grossmans Road Torquay, went to auction last Friday at Peppers Resort in The Sands with around 30 people in attendance.

McCartney Real Estate’s Steve Menegazzo said that there had been strong enquiry leading up to the auction of the last seven allotments in the Cranberry Way Estate.

“Given the shortage of land along the Surf Coast, and in particular soon-to-be-titled land, it was certainly a fantastic opportunity to purchase an allotment,” Mr Menegazzo said.

“There was bidding on the first four allotments out of the seven with one selling under the hammer for $371,000 and another sale being finalised straight after the auction.

“We are currently working on the sale of another two allotments so there is still the opportunity to purchase a block if you are interested.

“The real estate market along the Surf Coast has never been stronger so don’t hesitate in calling the sales team at McCartney’s to secure these last lots or for any real estate needs.”

The Cranberry Way Estate is set on a level site with minimal encumbrances making these blocks a cost-effective proposition for buyers to build their new home or next investment property in a popular location.

Ideally situated only a short walk to the Surf Precinct, retail shops, medical centre, reserves, sporting amenities, public transport with schools and child care centre at your door step. The main shopping centre, Torquay Central and beaches are also all very accessible.
