Market snaps up Villawood’s latest Estuary 2 release

February 17, 2022 BY

The latest 18-lot release in Estuary 2 sold out immediately at last week's launch.

Leopold’s Estuary 2 is being snapped up as swiftly as it hits the market, underscoring developer Villawood Properties’ faith in reprising its popular Bellarine Peninsula development.

The latest 18-lot release in Estuary 2 sold out immediately at the weekend, echoing the extraordinary performance of Villawood’s initial Estuary development, launched in 2011 which sold out in four years, five years ahead of forecasts.

Estuary 2 was launched in September last year with a 26-lot release, and a new 18-lot release scheduled for 17 February is expected to be strongly subscribed as buyers vie for quality stock in Geelong’s hugely popular market.

Villawood’s Regional Victoria general manager Julian Perez said that they were excited about the latest release.

“It has taken some time to get to market but we’re really pleased with the outcome for residents,” Mr Perez said.

Villawood’s Regional Victoria general manager Julian Perez said they were excited about the latest release.

“Premium land is difficult to secure in the Geelong region and Estuary 2 is a rare opportunity with varying lot sizes, landscaping, lush foliage, public sculptures.”

Estuary 2 will create a central park in the estate, which will provide more residents with the opportunity to live opposite open space.

There will also be the opportunity to buy new architect-designed VillaRange home packages, so buyers will be able to find a lot size to suit their budget or lifestyle.

“This is one of the last remaining offers in the Leopold/Bellarine Peninsula area,” Mr Perez said.

“You have the stunning Lake Connewarre on your doorstep where you can go walking, canoeing, bird-watching or take the kids cycling along its trails.

“Shopping-wise, there’s nearby Ash Road shops plus Gateway Plaza with Bunnings and numerous specialty stores just a short drive away.”

Estuary 2 has drawn significant anticipation, including many offspring of original Estuary residents keen to continue living at Leopold and replicating many early buyers, many of whom were local buyers looking for a quality community without having to move into Geelong.

The initial Estuary is home to more than 1500 residents, they enjoy an enviable lifestyle close to the Bellarine’s best beaches and 10 km from the Geelong CBD.

With titles now being delivered for Estuary 2 lots, new homes will soon be rising and the estate joining Melaleuca Road to Ash Road.
