One Agency on a roll
ONE Agency Torquay has been pumping out the results, with some significant sales recently to add to their long list of satisfied vendors.
Saturday’s spectacular auction of a two-bedroom unit at 2/39 Beach Road Torquay saw a local buyer secure it at $654,000 as an investment property.
With a record number of inspections exceeding 120 prior to auction, five intense bidders battled it out in front of a large crowd nearing 100, with the starting bid of $510,000 surprising many.
One Agency director Shaun O’Callaghan said that he and his team were dedicated to achieving the best result for vendors at auction.
“We have a proven campaign method when bringing a property to auction.
“We are proud of our continual results selling homes under the hammer at auction and exceeding our vendors’ expectations.”
Prior to this auction result, One Agency successfully negotiated the sale of 2 Anderson Street in Torquay, which is just a few steps back from the beach, and achieved a significant price.
To the vendors delight, the property will remain unchanged after the sale to a local couple who intend to keep it as it is for a family home.
“This isn’t common for large allotments in Torquay, we usually see them bought for development,” Mr O’Callaghan said.
“Vendors Ian and Dorothy are ecstatic that their family home is going to be used by another family.
“The fact that there were three separate buyers, with three separate usage intentions for the site, resulted in an intensive negotiation process, but we are thrilled with the result.”
Vendors Ian and Dorothy said that their experience with Shaun and his team throughout the sales campaign was exceptional.
“Their commitment and communication was fantastic. We were always comfortable with our dealings with One Agency,” they said. “They showed compassion and understanding when it came to our emotional ties to our home and handled the campaign with respect to our feelings, which was very much appreciated.
“The team at One Agency have exceptional communication skills, their due diligence and understanding of the stresses that vendors experience are outstanding.”
