Port auction trifecta for Neville Richards
Neville Richards Real Estate’s auction of three uniquely different Portarlington properties over the Australia Day long weekend was a success, with all selling under the hammer.
The property at 2/15 Nottingham Street sold for $543,500 after three bidders fought it out until Melbourne buyers secured the property.
The home at 42B The Esplanade sold for an impressive $1.66 million, with a Geelong-based buyer outbidding two other contenders.
And 51 Simson Street sold for $585,000 as five keen bidders pushed it well passed the reserve to see it knocked down to a Melbourne-based buyer.
Auctioneer Luke Campbell said the complete auction clearance confirmed the strength of the Portarlington market.
“We had an enormous amount of pre-auction enquiry on these three properties, which resulted in multiple bidders battling it out to secure their piece of this dynamic coastal town.
“Our region of the Bellarine continues to gain popularity as home buyers and holidaymakers alike realise what is on offer in this ever-popular seaside destination.”
