REIV market snapshot – December 13, 2018
After four generations across 71 years in the same family, 9 Price Street Torquay sold for $1.3m on Saturday with family members Matt, Beth and Cathy applying the sold sticker.
A clearance rate of 48 per cent was recorded over the weekend compared to 48 per cent last week and 67 per cent the same week last year.
There were 874 auctions reported to the REIV, with 420 selling and 454 being passed in, 227 of those on a vendor bid.
Three Geelong suburbs have surpassed their auction sales record so far in 2018 – Grovedale with 38 sales, Newcomb with 26 and 13 properties selling under the hammer in Thomson.
One Agency Torquay sold 9 Price Street Torquay at auction for $1.3 million while Bellarine Property sold 27 The Terrace Ocean Grove for $831,000 prior to auction.
