REIV market snapshot – December 7, 2017

A clearance rate of 68 per cent was recorded over the weekend compared to 68 per the weekend before and 78 per cent the same week last year.

There were 1,179 auctions reported to the REIV, with 806 selling and 373 being passed in, 179 of those on a vendor bid.

There are more than 4,300 auctions scheduled this month, challenging last year’s record when 3,877 homes were auctioned in December.

LJ Hooker Drysdale sold 189 Country Club Drive, Clifton Springs at auction for $545,000 and 17 De Burgh Road, Drysdale for $530,000.
