REIV market snapshot – Febuary 22, 2018

A CLEARANCE rate of 72 per cent was recorded over the weekend compared to 73 per cent the weekend before and 77 per cent on the same weekend last year.

There were 727 auctions reported to the REIV, with 520 selling and 207 being passed in, 106 of those on a vendor bid.

Craigieburn’s property market remains buoyant with a 95 per cent clearance rate recorded from 21 auctions this year – double its sales figures from the same period last year.

One Agency Shaun O’Callaghan sold 3 Rocklea Drive Torquay at auction for $710,000, and 190 Duffields Road (pictured above) for $1.18 million.

RT Edgar sold 40 Orton Street Ocean Grove at auction for $890,000.
