REIV market snapshot – May 17, 2018

A CLEARANCE rate of 63 per cent was recorded over the weekend compared to 66 per cent the weekend before and 78 per cent the same week last year.

There were 799 auctions reported to the REIV, with 505 selling and 294 being passed in, 154 of those on a vendor bid.

Wallan, in Melbourne’s northern outskirts, is a new property hotspot, with 11 auction sales so far this year, compared with none during the same period last year.
